Greetings!
Tarrus Riley
takes Island Pop Soul to new limits with his brand new chune “To the Limit” and he’s taking fans
along with him for the ride!
Working with producers Juke
Boxx Productions and Jam House
Records, Tarrus performs on a riddim that is not quite Reggae, and is not
quite Dancehall, but can only be called Island Pop Soul. The artist tells us about a lady who is
waiting with one command: “listen woman
I don’t drive too fast / buckle up girl / and now just relax / yes you know I
know this road / take you on a journey with eyes closed / and she said / hurry
up / push it too the limit….” Ka-Boom!
Now hear where the juice gets sweet! When you the 808 and the bass line drops,
combined with synthesizer and a hint of an organ and we have musical
murdah. Don’t let the piano in the first
8 bars fool you! This is a hit chune
especially to be heard in a mix. Imagine this song mixed with chunes with a disco-ish kind of vibe?! Musical Murdah!
