Recording artist
Ras Brando and his management team Copper Loxz Recordz announced the
signing of a production, marketing and distribution deal with music powerhouse
New Millionaire Entertainment. The
signing was made official in Jamaica, and is projected to be beneficial to both
parties.
Based in Jamaica,
the young Reggae recording artist has made a career of writing and performing
music to uplift listeners, and agrees that teaming with New Millionaire
Entertainment represents his next step in making his music widely available to
a global audience. “Music is not just about me writing, or the musicians
playing, it’s also about the people receiving which is something that the NME
Music Group does and does very well,” said the artist at the offices of New
Millionaire Entertainment.
New Millionaire
Entertainment has been insistent that their focus is delivery of quality music
to an international demographic who appreciate and consume the Caribbean’s most
valued audio commodity. Dave Grant, Vice President of NME says “signing
Ras Brando reflects some of the principles our company is built on. We
believe in giving music consumers quality music products and that quality is
reflected in the music of Ras Brando.” As they set their sights on the
worldwide market targeting sales in Europe, Japan, South Asia and Africa, the
team was very careful in its selection of the young Reggae artist.
Ras Brando recently
released his first single on the NME imprint entitled “Nation to Lead” which has
been very well received by International DJ’s, particularly the jocks in
Europe. Sir Daddy D from England’s largest online radio station,
Reggae4Us.com says that “the lyrical content of the song Nation to Lead as well
as the musical composition is of a standard that the business needs right now.”
