Greetings!
Stephen Souza has
a brand new song on the road, and true to Stephen’s style, it’s designed for
the Lover’s!
His new song “Missing
You” is about a man who got into an argument with his miss, she left and
now he’s missing her … bad! Familiar
theme brought to reality thanks to the literal cry in Stephen’s voice when he
sings (not to worry, he and his miss are ‘A’ ok)!
Musically, the song (can’t call this one a chune) is a
synthesizer based melody with a bass line you will respect as it’s familiar,
and allows the artist a good canvass to paint these lyrics: “now yesterday we had a quarrel / I said some
things I shouldn’t have said / now I lay across the bed where we once laid /
now the only thing that greets me / is this cold and empty pillow / and I’m
going girl out of my head ….” Mercy!
Combining elements of R&B and Reggae with a dash of
Lover’s Rock, Stephen Souza had a brand new chune on his hands waiting for you
to hear!
