Mighty Crown Presents ►►► Exco Levi – The Official Mixtape!

Greetings!

Mighty Crown’s reputation for delivering quality entertainment runs from stage shows, to Sound Clash to merchandise.  Today, Mighty Crown’s reputation extends to the Mixtape market, and front and center is the undisputed Knotty, Exco Levi!

Both entities have come together to give fans a mixtape which includes Exco’s hit chunes from 2013.  The mix plays so sweetly, you would think you’re at a concert.  Hit songs such as “Life in the Factory,” “Wicked Evil Man,” “Bleaching Shop” and “Storms of Life” which are reminders as to why this artist is one of the best.  Exco’s talent is also a reminder of why renowned producer Donovan Germaine (Penthouse Records) enjoys working with the artist, as well as Silly Walks Discotheque (Germany) and Larger Than Life Records (Boston - U.S.A)!

When I spoke to Exco about why he decided to put out the mix now, he said “my fans have been asking for this mix, and I wanted to give it to them special, and special comes from Mighty Crown putting the mix together!”  Not only does Mighty Crown do the mix, very prominent artists give customized jingles … Kaboom!

This is the perfect preview to what you’ll hear at Rebel Salute 2014!  Click the link or the mixtape cover to download the mix and make sure you connect with Exco on Twitter >>> @ExcoLevi

HOTTT New Dancehall ►►► Exco Levi – Man a Knotty!

Reggae’s shining star, Exco Levi is always in a serious gift giving mood.  This year alone he’s blessed us with several HOTTT Reggae releases, and today, Exco is giving us another gift but this time it’s a Dancehall chune … yes, you read me right … Dancehall and “Man ah Knotty!”

Expanding all territories, Exco boldly steps in to the world of Dancehall, not to perform slack lyrics but to give the people good music to dance to.  The artist sings:  “this is the Psalm of a Levi / Babylon fih leave I / from righteous livity / yuh know we nah guh defy / nah nyam no meat it could be curry or deep fry / 3 step with turban nuh call me no sweet guy / nah mek no money or no vanity deceive I / Ethiopia stretch forth her hand to receive I / Kings highway I ah travel / what a sweet time / Babylon can defeat I ….”  This is only 41 seconds into the chune!  Kaboom!

Giving good people good music to dance to, Exco proudly tells the world that he’s a knotty, and the kick is, when this chune is played on the radio, in the club, or on a mixed tape, people will be singing the chorus with him … “man ah knotty!”

The riddim, produced by Spott Music Productions, is Dancehall but it’s Dancehall with a heavy vibration.  Trust me, this is THE chune to beat.  If you don’t believe, attend Rebel Salute hosted by Tony Rebel and Queen IFrica and see what Exco Levi does on that stage!

Look out for the chune coming to iTunes soon!

Shaggy lives by a motto that has been adopted by people around the world.  The motto is “it’s not about the award, it’s about the reward,” and reward is what Shaggy will receive to begin 2014!

This year some of Shaggy’s closest friends will be in attendance to support his fundraising efforts.  Friends such as award winning, and international recording artist Ne-Yo whose hits include “Miss Independent,” “Sexy Love,” and “Because of You” will perform.  Ne-Yo, who became friends with Shaggy after meeting the star through mutual friends, didn’t hesitate to lend support to the cause saying “I am honored to perform for the children of Jamaica and bring added attention to the Bustamante Hospital.”  In addition to Ne-Yo joining Shaggy on stage, January 4th will mark the homecoming of Jamaica’s international songstress, Tessanne Chin.

Tessanne caused international hearts to stir with her performance on NBC’s The Voice.  Moving fans worldwide, Tessanne impressed judges and fans each week with her powerful and passionate voice, singing carefully selected songs such as “Try,” “Redemption Song” and “Bridge Over Troubled Water.”  The night of Shaggy and Friends marks Tessanne’s triumphant return to her homeland, and her support for the Bustamante Hospital!

How Beyonce's 'Beyonce' Stayed Secret Until the Day of Release?!

Without announcement or fanfare, Beyonce’s fifth album, simply entitled ‘Beyonce,’ arrived Friday morning at midnight, and was released without a lead single being released, without promotional video being released, no special performance, and no marketing campaign.  14 Tracks and multiple producers and no one knew it was coming!  How did she do this without a single leak?!

A lot of code names!  Not only did Beyonce use a lot of code names (according to Andrew Hampp of Billboard Magazine), King Bey used a lot of shifting deadlines which meant that producers and her team were unsure of the actual release date f her album.  What’s more, the final plans regarding the release wasn’t in place until last week.  To tell you how important Bey’s fans are to her, she says “I miss that immersive experience," she says, of watching music videos like Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” as a family, as a mass event. "Now people only listen to a few seconds of a song on the iPods and they don’t really invest in the whole experience. It’s all about the single, and the hype. It’s so much that gets between the music and the art and the fans. I felt like, I don't want anybody to get the message, when my record is coming out. I just want this to come out when it’s ready and from me to my fans."

On the executive level, final meetings were held with Columbia, Parkwood (Beyonce’s management company) late last week, and with iTunes to finalize plans for the album, which was code-named “Lily” to avoid leaks. Another final meeting announcing the album to employees and producers was held at Columbia on Thursday, Dec. 12. Only the most senior executives at iTunes, the album’s exclusive distributor until a planned physical release on Dec. 21, were clued in on the plans.

As for promo plans, Beyonce is in the midst of wrapping up the U.S. leg of her Mrs. Carter Tour, which plays New York’s Barclays Center next Thursday (Dec. 19.) Though plans were still being finalized, a screening event featuring a theatrical presentation of the 14 videos are being prepared.

HOTTT New Island Pop ►►► Maverick – She Like It!

Greetings!

Performing artist Maverick has created a successful formula for making great music, and that formula comes to life in his latest release called “She Likes It” which in one word is HOTTT!

Hailing from the Bean Town, aka Boston, crossover artist Maverick has stopped by to deliver his latest record called “She Likes It” which starts off with a great introduction, then eases into symphonic sounds before we hear the artist sing:  “saw you walking in the rain / trying to escape the pain / I said a woman like that should never have a tear so I gave her my name / I told her come my way / please don’t be ashamed / put my finger on her chin to lift her head up then I started to sing ….”  Kaboom!

The story continues with Maverick using his sweet voice to explain to the young lady that he understands the pain she’s been through, and he wants to be her knight in shining armor who takes her out of her heart ache.  Maverick represents the gentlemen of the world who believe in chivalry!  Adding a little grit to the song, we hear an easy Dancehall DJ lyrical flow at the bridge which is exactly how the crossover audience likes it.  This chune is a must play!

Broadcasting in amplified sound, catch Maverick and the chune “She Likes It” produced by Ballistic and Pushkeys at the YouTube link below.  You can also reach out to Mav on Twitter and let him know what you think >>> @MoneyMav

Ready to Take Your Dream Trip?!

If I could grant you one wish, and guarantee you that your one wish would come true, what would that wish be?  I asked a few of my friends, and they all said money.  When I asked why, they said ‘because they want to do what they want to do when they want to do it.’  I waved my wand and granted them their wish!

You might be wondering how, and the answer is simple.  I asked them what they are most passionate about, and connected their passions with financial gain.  Simple.

The one thing that we love to do, is get on a plane and travel.  No matter how mature or young you are, there is something about traveling to an exotic location – preferably HOTTT – checking in to a lush hotel and hitting the beach for sand and snorkeling; even better, getting paid to do it!

I came across a group that has made it possible to offer travel at drastically reduced prices which means friends and family can take dream trips.  Imagine trecking through the rainforest in Guatemala, experiencing Safari tours in Africa, or fun and excitement in Las Vegas.

I attended a meeting with 300 people who were all passionate about Travel, and half of them became millionaires because of the Travel business.  Say what?!  Yes, it’s true.  These millionaires are not dressed in suits and ties, instead they’re wearing jeans and t’s with swim suits underneath ready to catch their next flight to the tropics; I might add, all of them drive luxury vehicles (I was understated in my Lincoln Aviator), and all of them want you to become a millionaire too!  Let me repeat that, all of them want you to become a millionaire too!

If you happen to be in New York tonight, take a trip to the Bronx or Brooklyn and find out how these millionaires did it.  I promise it will not be a waste of your time!

Visit the website http://imonthego.dreamtripslife.com/ for details, then join us at Cue Lounge – 1107 E Gunhill Rd., Bronx, NY 10469 tonight, December 6th, 2013 from 7:30 to 10pm or 441 Ocean Avenue, Brooklyn, New York from 7:30 to 10pm!

It’s time to live your dream life!  J

Countdown to Christmas and Happy Holidays ►►► Sanchez - This Christmas!

Greetings!

Today is December 1st, and the countdown is officially on to Christmas.  In addition to celebrating family and making plans for the New Year, we also enjoy good music from good artists, and today, Sanchez drops by to deliver his latest release which is just in time for the Holiday’s!

Produced by New Millionaire Entertainment, “This Christmas” is a remake of the classic originally performed by Donny Hathaway in 1970.  Adding some island soul to the musical delivery, Sanchez and team make this the kind of record that you will be playing repeatedly.  Sanchez intro’s with:  “Christmas / is that one special time of the year / a time to come together / sharing gifts / giving thanks / oh it’s Christmas time for real / a time for giving and sharing / caring yes….”

Musically, you will love how New Millionaire uses the keyboard for the skank and drops the bass line in and out which has elements of the Satisfaction riddim made famous by Trojan Records who produced Carl Dawkins “Satisfaction” and later picked up by Richie Spice and the chune “Grooving!”  Yes indeed … wicked vibes guaranteed to make your holiday playlist sound that much better!

Broadcasting in amplified sound, catch Sanchez and the chune “This Christmas” produced by New Millionaire Entertainment at the SoundCloud link below, and make sure you tweet with the artist @SanchezOfficial
