HOTTT New Reggae ►►► CBlock – Killing Me Inside {Tropical Escapes Riddim}!

Greetings! 

It’s no secret that one of my favorite artists is CBlock and it’s also no secret that CBlock is on the rise in terms of the amount of fans being drawn to his voice and by extension to his music.  With all of that said, I know you're going to LOVE this white label release called “Killing Me Inside.” 

Singing from the position of a man who has been turned down by the woman he has great affection for, C pours out his heart when he sings “I can’t stop the rain / I can’t stop the pain / no / since you’ve been gone / nothing is the same / your memories remain / I think of how it used to be / and it’s killing me inside / baby / though I try to be strong I can’t hide ….”

Produced by Chimney Records, and acknowledging this release is a white label, CBlock rides the riddim perfectly as he is totally in sync with the bass line which he uses emphasize his lyrics.  Also, the passion with which he sings, you would really believe he is a man who is hurting over not being with the one he loves.  Mercy!

HOTTT New Reggae! Tarrus Riley – Gimme Likkle One Drop!

I’m excited and my excitement is due to one person … Tarrus Riley a.k.a. Singy Singy!  Teaming with Chimey Records, the seasoned Reggae artist gives his fan a brand new chune that will have them skaning and rocking for years to come.  The chune is called “Gimme Likkle One Drop!”   

Performed on the Tropical Escape Riddim, Tarrus represents everything that we love about Reggae music beginning with the DJ whom he asks to ‘set the mood’ so the people can hold a different energy!  Wait … Tarrus goes on to sing “I’m loving how the music sounds / yuh see dih women and dem we ah pree / hey Chimney / gimme likkle one drop / mek dih bass line roll and cotch / and mih love how dih riddim juss ah chap / me and mih women ah rock….”  Musical Murdah! 

Combine the lyrics and performance (yes, if you listen carefully you’ll hear Tarrus ‘performing’ this chune, not just recording it) with an incredible riddim that is more than just a riddim, it’s a journey!   

Musically, Chimney selects the right key and fuses the bass line and riddim guitar seamlessly which makes us move in unison.  What’s especially sweet is that non Reggae listeners who hear this chune for the first time will want more.  Great news for Reggae music!
