Time to get your "Shuga!"  Music super star Stonebwoy, who is known to make hit music loved by the masses, delivers again with his new single which features King of the Dancehall Beenie Man!

The music video for international collaboration was premiered on TRACE TV in Africa on April 23rd and has since racked up more than 75,000 views on YouTube!

The premise of the song is that we hustle hard every day and at some point we have to make time for the 'banana!'  Filled with double meanings, I'm sure this song will be played worldwide because of the sweet and relatable vibes!

Canadians Flock to ‘Beachorama’ For Fun in the Sun!

It is no secret that Canadians have endured an exceptionally harsh winter with temperatures averaging -20 degrees, and it is also no secret that Canadians love to party.  Wren4Life of All Starz Entertainment and Niyah of MYC Entertainment have teamed to take Canadians from the cold with Beachorama on Saturday April 27th, 2019 at Sabina Park!

Created by Wren4Life, Beachorama is a beach-based event held 4 times per year which allows party-goers to indulge in the best music, from the best DJs on the beaches of Jamaica as they enjoy premium beverages.  When contacted by Niyah of MYC Entertainment about hosting hundreds of travelers for fun in the sun and sand, Wren didn’t hesitate to say ‘yes.’  “I’m glad that Beachorama has grown from being a party in Jamaica to now being a party that hosts foreigners too.  Canada is more than welcome to party with us!”

Rapper Rooftop Rep from New York whose catalog of music includes a collaboration with Lil Pump and Kanye West will be on hand to perform as well.  When speaking to media about making this union happen, Niyah said “I am excited for this partnership. As a Canadian promoter, my job is to give fans new experiences they’ll love, and Beachorama does that.  Thanks to support from Barcode Saturday’s, Canada’s hottest party, we have a chance to take clientele from Canada to Jamaica.”

Fans are welcome to bring their own coolers to the event as DJs play the best in Dancehall, Soca and Hip Hop.  Joining Taylor Girlz and Rooftop Rep on the stage is King of the Dancehall Beenie Man!  The DJ lineup includes Kurt Riley, Team Shella, Hattaklaps, Copper Shot (Sean Paul’s tour DJ) and Rolexx (Konshens DJ).

Beachorama is a quarterly event that blends premium entertainment with premium fans.  Now in its 7th year.  For more information visit www.beachorama.party

Sound System Special: Beenie Man – Anyway!

And just like that, Beenie Man drops a must have for every Man and Woman who plays on a Sound System … the chune called “Anyways!”

Beenie Man
Produced by the Legend Maurice Johnson aka Black Scorpio who is one of the original Sound Men from 1968, Beenie’s performance is on a remake of the Lazy Body riddim.  This version is loaded with original vibes from yester-year, and Beenie drops some lyrics that, if reconstructed for Sound Clash, Sound Men / Women will set themselves for an advantage.  The Legend sing-jays:  nuff say dem ah dog but dem ah puss / no fear ambulance strap dem inna bush / and nuff say dem ah Ras but man ah ancient kush / Mih know say nuff say dog but dem ah puss….”  Beenie goes on to lyrically ride the riddim in a way that resembles a loaded weapon letting off rounds of bullets without a pause or glitch for 2.5 minutes straight, only stopping to reload ammunition.  K-A-B-O-O-M!

When a Legendary Sound Man (Black Scorpio) produces a riddim with proper construction (Lazy Body Reloaded), and it meets a Legendary performer (Beenie Man), the result is a wicked 45 called “Anyways” and a serious Sound killing Dubplate if you choose to have it cut that way!  You’re Welcome!

Download links for the 45 are below, and connect with Beenie on Twitter / Facebook @KingBeenieMan re getting the Dubplate.  Please note, you will have to pay for the Dubplate at the price set my Beenie and his management team!

HOTTT New Dancehall ►►► Beenie Man – Me Neva!

Greetings!

When it comes to Dancehall, and when it comes to delivering HIT records for the Dancehall, there are few artists who come close to the echelon in which King Beenie Man dwells.  One of his latest chunes “Me Neva” is another example of the Kings greatness!

Produced by Lexzona Muzyk, the Koko Riddim has a sweet throwback vibe reminiscent of Dancehall riddims from the 90’s, so imagine Beenie performing these lyrics:  “me / born Outta mih modda belly / neva did that / why in the name of God mih waan head up mih back / caw mih neva eva eva eva eva neva eva do dat / bring Carena come park up / mih have a power jack / gyal ah nyam ah cuch fih get ah pension / like Veronica Campbell yuh firm like a brag / yuh have dih cushion for the pushin / and mih have yuh inna mih sack / like mully mih give yuh one drop ….”  Musical Murdah!

Giving fans exactly what they expect, Beenie Man doesn’t disappoint as his lyrical delivery is airtight and in sync with the riddim!  On Saturday August 17th, 2013, he will be the star of the show at the Montreal International Reggae Festival and the ladies couldn’t be happier!  For more information on the event, visit www.montrealreggaefest.com or Tweet with them on Twitter @MTLReggaefest or message them on Facebook >>> https://www.facebook.com/montreal.reggaefest

HOTTT New Music ►►► Mr. Easy ft. Beenie Man – Fly Away!

Greetings!

We haven’t heard too much from Mr. Easy for a little while, but in one song, Mr. Easy has changed that by delivering a feel good chune featuring Beenie Man called “Fly Away.”

Produced by Kisko Hype from Studio 91 in Brooklyn, New York and ZJ Rush from Zip FM / Code Red Sound in Jamaica for their joint label Studio 91 Records, the riddim is bass and 808 kick driven with a light synthesized flute effect; perfect for radio and mixtapes!

The King of the Dancehall starts things off with “she’s intriguing intelligent beautiful and sexy / she’s the reason why Selassie I mek me / with two beautiful baby she bless me / sekkle mih brain when dih business ah stress me / so me ah tell yuh me love you my baby / yuh ah my one and you ah my only / and I’ll never leave you lonely….”

Mr. Easy sings “call the preacher / make the date / set the time and get the place / time for us to combinate / let’s just set it straight / come on girl let’s celebrate / cause we always kept the faith / give my all never hesitate / she make me want to fly away….”

Ka-Boom!

His latest hit song, “Let’s Go to the Beach” has more than 4 Million views on YouTube, his career span is more than 30 years and he has multiple awards on his mantle including a Grammy.  He’s been featured with Janet Jackson, Alicia Keys and Sean Paul.  He is Beenie Man and he is the King of the Dancehall.

For all of the Kings fans, the icon will be performing on Saturday May 25th (2013) at the Casino World Resort in Queen’s for an event called ‘A Night Called Memories’ and memories is exactly what the people will enjoy.  Chunes like “Dog Like We,” “Dude,” “Who Am I” and “Romie” be on deck as well as recent throwback hit chunes like “Rum and Redbull” which was released in 2010.

Having spoken to Beenie many times over the years, I can personally tell you that nothing excites him more than knowing he’s performing for his fans, especially the females.  I know the Queens of Queen’s, New York are going to be out in full to greet their King, Beenie Man.
