Chino McGregor’s song “Larger Than Life” is a hit record!  The chune is so much of a hit that Chino, Tosh and Trees came to a decision very quickly; a music video must be made for the chune, and here it is! 

Set to the Caribbean ocean and cityscapes in Kingston, Jamaica, Chino shows off how he’s living Larger Than Life and we LOVE it!  Women, Moscato, Mercedez and Benjamin’s play a prominent role in the music video produced by Shut Your Moutfh Films and Big Ship Video.

HOTTT New Lorde Remix ►►► DeMarco – Loyal!

Greetings! 

2013 ended with the release of one of the best reality Pop songs.  Lorde has single handedly taken over all radio stations and music video playlists with her hit song “Royals.”  The song is musically simple and connects universally because of the lyrics that all listeners can relate to.  In 2014, Demarco picks up the musical baton with the remix called “Loyals!” 

Demarco’s choice of lyrics stand out, because they are consistent with the original song, except that it’s tailored for the Caribbean market.  The interesting note is that the message in his song is applicable to every person in the world.  The award winning artist sings:  “memba mih did tell yuh bout badmind friend / from yuh turn yuh back dem want yuh life fih end / cuh dem nuh like we / but anything me talk me can defend / true / dem say dem want me dead now / chat behind mih back and when dem see me dem friendly….”  K-A-B-O-O-M! 

Working with 2 minutes and 23 seconds, Demarco analyzes the movements of badminds, and succinctly puts them in check by letting them know he has deleted them.

HOTTT New Dancehall ►►► Exco Levi – Man a Knotty!

Reggae’s shining star, Exco Levi is always in a serious gift giving mood.  This year alone he’s blessed us with several HOTTT Reggae releases, and today, Exco is giving us another gift but this time it’s a Dancehall chune … yes, you read me right … Dancehall and “Man ah Knotty!” 

Expanding all territories, Exco boldly steps in to the world of Dancehall, not to perform slack lyrics but to give the people good music to dance to.  The artist sings:  “this is the Psalm of a Levi / Babylon fih leave I / from righteous livity / yuh know we nah guh defy / nah nyam no meat it could be curry or deep fry / 3 step with turban nuh call me no sweet guy / nah mek no money or no vanity deceive I / Ethiopia stretch forth her hand to receive I / Kings highway I ah travel / what a sweet time / Babylon can defeat I ….”  This is only 41 seconds into the chune!  Kaboom! 

Giving good people good music to dance to, Exco proudly tells the world that he’s a knotty, and the kick is, when this chune is played on the radio, in the club, or on a mixed tape, people will be singing the chorus with him … “man ah knotty!”
