Produced by Studio Vibes, this party chune is an early warm bounce that describes what partying with Alliance Next Generation artist, Patexx, entails.  The Sing-jay says “liquor nuff an mih full ah chaser / and the Guinness ah pile up like ah skyscraper / not to mention mih Henny with the rum and vodka / ah so me shell dung party inna Jamaica!”  Ka-Boom!

HOTTT New Music ►►► Kranium – Nobody Has to Know!

Greetings! 

The introduction of this HOTTT new artist who goes by the name of Kranium, can only be described by a chain of events which I will do in a few words or less! 

Sparkie, as in ZJ Sparks from Zip FM in Jamaica and Dynasty Records introduced the artist via the Kush Morning Riddim which was an international success.  Kranium’s song “Gotta Believe” was picked up around the world, especially in Africa.  Good.   

Kranium continued to record and put in the footwork (alongside his manager Sugga) where he met the Irie Jam Media family, and not long after that, Kranium was invited to perform on the stage at the Irie Rave Fashion show where he ‘wow’d’ the audience with his song “Nobody Has to Know.”   

In a cool and calm voice the artist sings “nobody have fih know / seh you and me ah touch / nobody nah fih know / seh you ah give it up / nobody have fih know you ah come ova mih yaad / baby yuh know me love yuh bad….”  Musical murdah and there begins the story of a fictional couple moving on the low!  The chune is so hot it’s being endorsed by Dilinga Movements!

HOTTT New Music ►►► Mr. Easy ft. Beenie Man – Fly Away!

We haven’t heard too much from Mr. Easy for a little while, but in one song, Mr. Easy has changed that by delivering a feel good chune featuring Beenie Man called “Fly Away.” 

Produced by Kisko Hype from Studio 91 in Brooklyn, New York and ZJ Rush from Zip FM / Code Red Sound in Jamaica for their joint label Studio 91 Records, the riddim is bass and 808 kick driven with a light synthesized flute effect; perfect for radio and mixtapes! 

The King of the Dancehall starts things off with “she’s intriguing intelligent beautiful and sexy / she’s the reason why Selassie I mek me / with two beautiful baby she bless me / sekkle mih brain when dih business ah stress me / so me ah tell yuh me love you my baby / yuh ah my one and you ah my only / and I’ll never leave you lonely….” 

Mr. Easy sings “call the preacher / make the date / set the time and get the place / time for us to combinate / let’s just set it straight / come on girl let’s celebrate / cause we always kept the faith / give my all never hesitate / she make me want to fly away….”

There is a certain energy that comes through the speakers when good music is played.  That energy resonates with listeners; it gives them a dose of what they need right at the time they need it.  Gappy Ranks and Exco Levi deliver that dose of energy, and they’ve done it right on time!

King Beenie Man Performing for the Queens of Queen’s, New York!

His latest hit song, “Let’s Go to the Beach” has more than 4 Million views on YouTube, his career span is more than 30 years and he has multiple awards on his mantle including a Grammy.  He’s been featured with Janet Jackson, Alicia Keys and Sean Paul.  He is Beenie Man and he is the King of the Dancehall.

For all of the Kings fans, the icon will be performing on Saturday May 25^th (2013) at the Casino World Resort in Queen’s for an event called ‘A Night Called Memories’ and memories is exactly what the people will enjoy.  Chunes like “Dog Like We,” “Dude,” “Who Am I” and “Romie” be on deck as well as recent throwback hit chunes like “Rum and Redbull” which was released in 2010.

Having spoken to Beenie many times over the years, I can personally tell you that nothing excites him more than knowing he’s performing for his fans, especially the females.  I know the Queens of Queen’s, New York are going to be out in full to greet their King, Beenie Man.

Jamaica and the worlds singing sensation, OMI has recorded a special tribute for all Mother’s around the world.  The tribute is based on his hit song “My Old Lady” which is a beautiful poem, turned in to a song, in tribute to his Mom.
