HOTTT New Roots Reggae ►►► Kaisha Lee – Light Shall Rise!

Greetings!

I cannot contain my excitement when it comes to Kaisha Lee, her music, her expression; her artistry.  I am even more excited to share her newest chune with you, “Light Shall Rise” on the Genzeb Riddim!

Produced by Indie Rootz, Kaisha Lee does to this riddim what Lena Horne does to Jazz … yes, this chune is that good, and it’s for serious Roots Reggae selectors.  The riddim starts with a heavy bass drum that is similar to a chant, then the organ skank kicks in with an easy bubble, then you get the base.  Once that foundation is set, Kaisha Lee comes in with her sweet Jazz-ish flow as she sings:

“My light shall rise / to the sun / like carnations / groundation / purple candle / fire gun / river flows into the sun / sacred mystic creation / after all is said and done / you know the light shall rise …. / They are hiding in religion / dutty john crow division / saying one thing / delivering none / delivering none / after all is said and done / you know my light shall rise….”

If you are serious about spreading positive mystic vibrations, and you’re using your iPod / iPad / iPhone / MP3 player and Spotify playlist to do so, this is the song for you!
