Bigger Than Def Comedy Jam?!

There's no other poetry event in the world that draws a crowd larger than that of the non-profit entertainment ministry, P4CM, The Passion For Christ Movement.

Bold claim? Yes, but very accurate.  Last year 3200 people filled Cottonwood Church in Los Alamitos,Ca to hear some the world's top poets deliver clever, witty, thoughtful and powerfully life changing word play at  the poetry event P4CM calls "Rhetoric."

"I've been into poetry since 2007 and I've never experienced anything quite like this." says Andwele Williams of San Pedro, Ca. "Because of the quality and talent here I think this event will appeal to anyone regardless of their religion or lack thereof," he added.

The group started as a church in 2006 and though they no longer operate in that capcity, over the years they have evolved into one of the most influential players in Christian entertainment today. They started with events that brought in a just over one hundred attendes. Today thousands come from around the world to witness this event live. "We've had people travel from as far as Saudi Arabia and Australia to be here" said Timothy Senkungu, Executive Director of P4CM. "The fact that people are willing to travel that far is a testament to the quality of the event and the quality of the talent", he added.

Because of the high quality of their productions P4CM has been endorsed by some of the top names in Christian Hip Hop (Lecrae, Trip Lee, DaTruth, Andy Mineo, Propaganda and The Breax).

In 2013, P4CM added live music to its spoken word production. Previous events featured a DJ on stage to maintain crowd energy but adding a live band has taken that energy to another level. Last year, the band "Johnathan Traylor and One1Way" got everyone loose with their high energy rhythms and melodic voices and rapper R-Swift brought the crowd of 3000 plus to its feet with his  "Awesome God" anthem.

This year "Rhetoric 2014" will feature Collision Records recording artist Christon Gray (http://collision-records.com) who will be releasing his debut album this month which quickly shot to #5 on Itunes featured pre-orders..

"Rhetoric 2014" is set for August 8th 2014 and will be returning to Cottonwood Church (4505 Katella Ave. Los Alamitos, CA 90720)

Tickets are available at http://rhetoric.p4cm.com
